The NOVO™ high efficiency dual pass (HEDP) water softener uses a two tank system to prevent this problem. The first tank is used to significantly reduce the water hardness. The second tank acts as a polisher by removing the remaining hardness in the water, producing more consistent, softer water. The NOVO™ HEDP offers salt efficient up flow regeneration with precision brining for ultimate salt and water savings.
