Protect low areas or basements from the backflow of waste from street sewers with the NDS® gravity flow backwater valve. This valve is a cost-effective and chemically-resistant alternative to traditional cast-iron valves, making it ideal for both contractors and homeowners. Its quick-action flapper with an elastomeric gasket allows for unrestricted, uni-directional flow and ensures a watertight seal. The included 16-inch access riser and cover can be cut to length, offering simple, economical access for inspection and maintenance. For proper operation, this lightweight and easy-to-install valve requires a horizontal installation with the flow arrows pointing in the direction of water flow.
